The Bus - How it Works

Here are the details on the Eastern States and Run for the Border shuttle buses.

When:
You can board the bus at the parking lot of the Winnacunnet High School in Hampton on race morning. If you have run in the past, please note this is a new location for the bus loading area! Here is a link to the Winnacunnet High School:

Winnacunnet High School:

The Eastern States 20 Mile buses will start loading a little after 7:00 am. until 9:00 a.m., at which time the last bus will leave for Traip Academy, Kittery, ME. You will be dropped at the Academy, where you can wait inside until the race begins at 11:00. To avoid having to wait to board the bus in Hampton, please arrive early to use one of the early buses.

The Run for the Border Half Marathon Mile buses will also board at the High School , starting at 8:00 a.m. and running until 9:30 a.m. They will transport runners to the start in Rye.

After the Race:
At the conclusion of both races, at the state line in Salisbury, buses will shuttle you back to the High School, where the food and awards will take place, should you be interested in either of those. There will be no buses back to the Start Line, so please park at the Winnacunnet High School for bus service
